Daisey and Picture cake
My latest cake, I was asked to put this picture of the birthday girl onto a cake with some flowers. I took the picture to my local cake decorating shop and got them to photocopy the image onto icing. This cost me £6.50 but its a very good way of putting an image onto a cake. To hide the edge of the picture I made two sizes of daisys. The yellow centre of the daisys is sugar coloured yellow, this gives the centre a natural look and gets them to stand out more.

Mini Cooper Cake
This cake was the first cake i have done that's shaped as a car. In the UK some minis have flags on top of them, I did this by printing off a flag of Google images and cutting them out and then cutting the bits out and putting them onto a white back ground to bring the flag together.
Harry potter sorting hat birthday cake
Harry Potter Sorting hat Birthday cake. Its not all cake the point at the top is breakfast bars mashed together and stuck on then iced over the top. Breakfast bars are great to use to mould and ice excellant replacements to use for cake and taste good as well.
Mini mouse birthday cake
Mini mouse birthday cake. To make the head on top of the cake i used a mixing bowl ond cooked the sponge in there and then turned it out. The ears are petal paste died black cut two circles out and left over night to set.

This was a birthday cake that i was asked to do. The little elephant was hand made which has water spraying out of it trunk, how i did this was cut florest wire and place blue icing on the end to make that impression come across. I also got a normal cnadle and stuck an number to it with edible glue a nice effect. Number candles can cost a lot of money from the shops this is just a cheap allternative to them.
This cake was ordered through where i work. It was made for an officer in the the American army to celebrate his promiotion. They wanted the flags on the cake. I did this by printing the flags of the computer and taking it to my local cake shop where i was able to get them to print the flags off onto icing. If any body decides to do this then i recomend that you use edible glue that can be purchased from most catering suppliers, you need to make sure that all edges have glue as the flags will start to curl up.
